Alkira was born from a deep aspiration, cultivated in the heart of Alice , a Treviso-based designer with long experience in the fashion world.
Her passion for this sector didn't start as a child, but grew step by step, choosing with curiosity and determination a path of study that would allow her to express her sensitivity through the work of her hands.
Over the years, Alice has explored every nuance of this world: from design to cutting, from pattern making to tailoring, all the way to quality control. She has worked in large companies and small artisanal businesses, gaining an intimate understanding of every stage of garment creation.
Alkira's dream takes shape
During a life experience in Australia and Spain , she felt a new need arise within her: to create something of her own, rooted in Italian values and culture. It was there that Alkira took shape, a dream that combines the quality and refinement of Made in Italy craftsmanship with a more authentic, conscious, and accessible idea of fashion.
Alkira was born from the desire to create garments that were no longer available: a classic shirt in pure silk, finished to perfection, made to last over time without compromising on quality.
Hence the idea of creating essential, refined and natural clothing , garments that resist passing fads and that speak of the value of time, care and craftsmanship.

What does the word Alkira and our logo mean?
Alkira is a word that comes from the Australian Aboriginal language and means “happy place in the sun” or “bright and sunny” .
We chose this name because it perfectly captures the spirit with which our brand was born: the desire to bring light, warmth, and positivity to every creation.
Australia, a country we deeply love, has inspired us with its natural colors, free energy, and authentic connection with nature. Hence, Alkira was born—a name that reflects Alice's sunny personality and our philosophy: creating handcrafted garments made only from natural materials, designed for those who want to embrace the simple, luminous beauty of nature.
Our logo , a stylized sun, represents this guiding light: it's Alice's favorite symbol and a nod to our Argentine roots, inspired by the sun on the Argentine flag. An emblem of warmth, energy, and belonging that unites our origins with the very meaning of Alkira .
